Tatvartha WealthNest AI Private Limited (“WealthNest.AI®”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. 
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the WealthNest AI mobile application (“App”) or website (“Site”). 

By accessing or using our App or Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy. 

  1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data: 

  • Personal Identification Data: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, and other details required for KYC. 
  • KYC & Regulatory Data: PAN, Aadhaar (last four digits), bank account proof, or other documents as required by RBI/SEBI/IRDAI norms. 
  • Financial Data: Linked account information, investment preferences, and voluntary insights shared via the App. 
  • Device & Technical Data: Device type, IP address, operating system, browser version, and App activity logs. 
  • Usage Data: App interactions, session analytics, cookies, crash reports, and diagnostic logs. 
  • Permissions: Camera, microphone, and location permissions used solely during onboarding and identity verification. 

Wherever applicable, mandatory fields will be clearly indicated. Optional fields may be left blank at the user’s discretion.  

  1. Legal Basis for Processing

We process data based on: 

  • Your explicit consent at registration or during KYC, 
  • Contractual necessity to deliver financial and analytical services, 
  • Legal obligation under RBI, SEBI, and DPDP Act 2023, 
  • Legitimate interest to improve platform functionality and security. 
  1. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to: 

  • Verify identity and complete KYC/AML procedures. 
  • Deliver personalized portfolio insights and recommendations. 
  • Improve App/Website functionality, UI, and analytics. 
  • Communicate updates, offers, and policy changes (with consent). 
  • Ensure compliance with Indian financial and data protection regulations. 

All AI-generated analytics or insights are produced through algorithmic models, and outputs are for informational purposes only, not financial advice. 

  1. Data Sharing and Third-Party Access
  • Data may be shared with RBI-licensed Account Aggregators, SEBI-registered intermediaries, and IRDAI-regulated partners for legitimate service delivery. 
  • No banking credentials are stored by the Company. 
  • All partners operate under legally binding confidentiality agreements and DPDP-compliant contracts. 
  • If data is transferred outside India, it will remain subject to contractual safeguards ensuring equivalent protection. 
  • Data may be disclosed to law enforcement or government authorities if required by applicable law. 

We do not sell or rent personal data. 

  1. Data Security

We implement multiple layers of protection: 

  • AES-grade encryption, tokenization, and secure cloud storage. 
  • Periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. 
  • Limited internal access under strict confidentiality controls. 

Despite these safeguards, no system is fully secure. Use of the App and Site is at your own risk. 
If any unauthorized access, data breach, or security incident occurs, the Company will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required under applicable law. 

User Security Responsibilities 

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including passwords, PINs, or OTPs. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or misuse resulting from user negligence or credential sharing. 

  1. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained only for as long as necessary for: 

  • Service provision and compliance with legal or regulatory requirements, or 
  • Five (5) years after termination of account access, whichever is longer. 

Upon expiry of this period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized. 

  1. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

You may: 

  • Request access to your personal data. 
  • Correct or update inaccuracies. 
  • Withdraw consent at any time (may affect service continuity). 
  • Request deletion or portability, subject to legal limits. 

All requests can be made by emailing privacy@wealthnest.ai, and will be processed within 30 days.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy available at https://wealthnest.ai/cookies. 
By continuing to use our website, you consent to such usage. 

For external websites linked from our App or Site, please refer to Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions, which governs third-party link responsibility. The Company is not liable for content, security, or data practices on external sites.

WealthNest AI does not knowingly collect or process data from individuals under 18 years of age.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be notified through email or in-app notice. The latest version will always be available at https://wealthnest.ai/privacy. 

Users may request prior versions of this Policy by contacting privacy@wealthnest.ai.

Even after opting out, you may still receive non-promotional updates such as policy or service-related notifications. 

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. 
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
